I have tried to see the status for the Social Security application I completed online and keep receiving the message that Social Security is unable to process my request. What is the problem?
This message may have been displayed for several possible reasons:
You entered your Social Security number or Confirmation Number incorrectly.
You started your application on the Internet but did not complete your claim. If this is the case, you can complete your claim by restarting your application.
A final decision was made on your application for benefits over four months ago.
