If you are receiving checks by mail, wait 3 days after the date you normally receive your check. If still not received contact 1-800-772-1213. You should also consider receiving future checks by direct deposit.

All Social Security beneficiaries receiving benefits prior to May, 1997 will continue to receive benefits on the 3^rd.  See the Social Security Administration’s  schedule of check payment dates for 2006.

If you normally receive your check by direct deposit to your bank, report a non receipt of payment immediately to 1-800-772-1213. People who are deaf or hard of hearing may call the Social Security Administration’s toll-free TTY number, 1-800-325-0778, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
